Don’t let the name fool you on this delightful bar! Our Dark Tobacco + Sweet Bay Leaf bar is a fantastic mix of dark earthen musk meets sweet garden herb bounty. It’s a true herbal delight - blending the fragrances of bergamot, white musk, fresh bay and damp and fresh, deep tobacco leaves. This is another one of our personal fragrance mixes that you are sure to fall in love with. It’s crafted to remind you of walking into an old-world tobacconist, and savoring the aromas of freshly dried dark tobacco, and time-aged, deep cedar walls. To lighten it up a bit, we’ve added the lightly sweet scents of bergamot and sweet jasmine as beautifully fresh and light end-notes.

But (as usual) the artisan in us (me...) just couldn’t stop there...!

We’ve made this beautiful bar even more beautiful by using natural brown iron oxide for our deep and earthy brown in this bar. Thus, turning your bubbles a light tinge of earthen brown, and adding that extra boost of earth’s natural bounty. Don’t worry, as our iron oxides won’t hang around on your shower or towels for long. They are naturally non-staining.

As with all of our micro-batched Artisan work bars -  although the fragrance will remain *somewhat* the same from batch to batch... you’ll never see another “visual” batch *exactly* like this one again! 
 
Our Dark Tobacco + Sweet Bay Leaf bar is one of our moderately fragranced bars. It produces a very dense lather, large creamy and sustained bubbles, and leaves a moderately moisture-rich finish.
 
Please note that by nature of any cold process soap bar - please keep your bars well drained between uses for the longest-lasting and best performing bar life possible. We highly recommend the use of one of our natural soap drying dishes, soap savers, or soap sacks!
 
Specific ingredients: white cap lard, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, canola oil, castor oil, distilled water, sodium hydroxide, tobacco and bay fragrance, refined sugar, mica pigment (mica, titanium dioxide, ferrous oxide), white kaolin clay, brown iron oxide.
